ADDITIONAL INFO
Can contain both circle-and band-saw marks, but most likely it will be heavy to band-saw marks.  It will have some areas of “skip” and the remainder of the surface area will be planed smooth.  (Please refer to photo for a representation of the “skip”). The skip portion can contain any defect found in rough lumber such as crayon marks, water marks, etc.  Skipsawn is run as a “rustic” grade, but will not be as knotty as our Mesa grade.  It will be endmatched and square-edged (no bevel).  Lengths 1’-10’.  Standard bevel is 1/16” at a 45-degree angle. Custom bevels require a drawing or sample and additional setup charge may apply.

Like Skipsawn, Buckboard can contain both circle-and band-saw marks, but most likely it will be heavy to band-saw marks.  There will be less “skip” area than Skipsawn.  (Please refer to Buckboard photo for a representation of the “skip”). The skip portion can contain any defect found in rough lumber such as crayon marks, water marks, etc.  The final sanding step we perform tones down the roughness of the skipsawn and the wirebrushing, making it suitable for everyday living.  Edges are beveled.  Lengths 1’-10’.
